We collect very little data. This site works without requiring personal information. Any analytics data is anonymous and optional — you control whether we collect it through our cookie consent system.
Who we are
This site is operated by FolkUp, a project dedicated to open knowledge and digital rights education. We believe privacy is a fundamental right, especially for young people learning about digital citizenship.

Special protection for under-16s
Under European law (GDPR Article 8), young people under 16 have special protection. If you're under 16:

- Extra protections: We take additional care with any data from young users
- Educational purpose: This site is designed to help young people learn about digital rights
- No profiling: We never build behavioral profiles of individual users

This site uses minimal third-party services:

- Location: Hosted in European Union
- Privacy policy: Same as this policy
Fonts and assets
- Self-hosted: All fonts and images served from our servers
- No external tracking: No Google Fonts or similar services that track users
International transfers
Your data stays within the European Union:
- Hosting: Servers located in the EU
- Analytics: Processed within the EU
- No US transfers: No data sent to United States or other countries
- GDPR compliance: Full protection under European law

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be clearly announced. You can always find the current version at this page.
